‏Ramallah – General Directorate of Police: Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, Chief of Palestinian Police, met Monday, with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Palestine, İsmail Çobanoğlu, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation in security and training fields.

‏During the meeting, both sides discussed mechanisms for developing bilateral relations between the Palestinian police and their Turkish counterparts, including the exchange of expertise in training, rehabilitation, crime prevention, and strengthening community security. They also discussed Turkey’s role in supporting Palestinian security institutions through capacity-building programs and logistical assistance.

‏Major General Al-Saqqa emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Turkish side in developing police performance in line with the latest international standards, praising the historical relations between the two countries.

‏For his part, the Turkish ambassador reaffirmed his country’s continued support for the Palestinian people and their institutions, commending the progress made by the Palestinian police in ensuring security and stability.

‏The meeting was attended by Brigadier  laith Zidan, Chief of staff of the Chief of Police; Brigadier Abu Znaid Abu Znaid, Director of the Training Department; Brigadier Tareq Dawabsheh, Director of International Relations; and Colonel Maher Al-Sadiq, Director of the Office of the Chief of Police.
