Police Commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of Founding Leader Yasser Arafat (Abu Ammar)

Ramallah – General Directorate of Police –Monday, the police participated in events commemorating the 20th anniversary of the martyrdom of founding leader Yasser Arafat, "Abu Ammar," at the shrine square in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.

The police reported that Brigadier General Rasheed Hamdan, represented Major General Allam Al-Saqqa,  the chief of Police, at the event. He was joined by Brigadier General Medhat Hajjo, Assistant Director General for Operations; Brigadier General Abu znaid Abu znaid, Director of Public Relations and Media; Brigadier General Thabet Al-Saadi, Director of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Police; and several directors of specialized departments and police stations within the governorate.

‏The Police added that the ceremony commenced with all participating institutions laying wreaths of flowers. Brigadier General Rasheed Hamdan laid a wreath on behalf of Major General Allam Al-Saqqa and the General Directorate of Police on the leader’s shrine 
‏and recited Al-Fatihah in his memory
