Ramallah – General Directorate of Police –Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, Chief of Palestinian Police, met Monday, with Minister Ahmad Assaf, General Supervisor of Official Media, and his accompanying delegation to discuss avenues for cooperation between the police and official media at his office in Ramallah.
The police reported that Major General Al-Saqqa emphasized on the importance of coordinating with Palestinian official media to convey the true efforts of the police and their role in raising citizens awareness on various social issues. He highlighted that partnership with official media builds trust between the police and the community, raises public awareness on security matters, and encourages community cooperation to ensure national security, stability, and prosperity.
"For his part, Minister Ahmad Assaf expressed the commitment of official media to convey the Palestinian scene to the world by providing media content that addresses the Palestinian public opinion, and meets the needs of the Palestinian people, also highlights the state's efforts in maintaining security and stability. He emphasized the role of official media as a bridge for communication between the police and the community, providing citizens with reliable information.
Both parties agreed to strengthen cooperation and develop joint media projects that contribute to raising public awareness of security issues and enhancing mutual trust between the police and the Palestinian community.
