Traffic Accidents kill 2 and Injure 212 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 2 were killed and 212 were injured  in 205 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 205 traffic accidents, which 2 were killed and 212 injured, of whom 3 sustained serious injuries, 20 moderate, and 189 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 4115 vehicles and seized 62 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2906 traffic reports, and seized 138 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  189 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
