Traffic Accidents kill 5 and Injure 211 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 5 were killed and 211 were injured  in 225 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 225 traffic accidents, which 5 were killed and 211 injured, of whom 3 sustained serious injuries, 13 moderate, and 195 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 4412 vehicles and seized 134 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 3254 traffic reports, and seized 146 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  68 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
