Traffic Accidents kill 2 and Injure 184 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 2 were killed and 184 were injured  in 197 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 197 traffic accidents, which 2 were killed and 184 injured, of whom 2 sustained serious injuries, 17 moderate, and 165 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 4026 vehicles and seized 75 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2888 traffic reports, and seized 133 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  180 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
