Traffic Accidents kill 2 and Injure 183 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 2 were killed and 183 were injured  in 201 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 201 traffic accidents, which 2 were killed and 183 injured, of whom 1 sustained serious injuries, 13 moderate, and 169 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3947 vehicles and seized 74 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 3351 traffic reports, and seized 154 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  80 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
