In its Annual Report : Police Accomplishes More than 22000 case during 2015

Ramallah- General Directorate of Police- Colonel Dr. Mahmoud Salah al-Din Director of Research and Planning Department announced  today during a press conference in the Palestinian government media center in Ramallah, that the police recorded 26 552 case, in which  22834 case were  completed, which representing 86% of the total registered cases.
Police's Public Relations and Media Department reported in a statement that "Colonel Salah al-Din extended greetings of the chief of police Mr.Hazim Atallah to the audience.
Colonel Salah al-Din added that the numbers received are a reflection of the efforts that have been achieved on the field by the police, and reflects the successes during an entire year in order to achieve security and safety and give the citizens a decent life quiet and stable and that couldn't be achieved without loyal police officers who are working in a national spirit and teamwork to achieve their goal toward security and stability in all around the country.
For his part  Colonel Dr. Mahmoud Salah al-Din Director of Research and Planning Department reviewed during the press conference that the crimes against persons ranked the highest in criminal cases according to legal conditioning, which reached 11629 which represents (43.8) of the number of offenses, and the percentage of the achieved cases reached (89.8%).
Colonel Dr. Salahuddin also reviewed  that the number of murdering crimes   were (54) crime, in which (47) of them are men and(7) women. The Achieved percent reached (94.4%). Salah Al-Din also showed suicide cases, the police recorded 18 case, 14 are males and 4 females.With regard to issues of attempted suicide, it reached 425, 119 are males and 306 females.
He also discussed the number of complaints received by the Grievance and human rights department which reached (311) complaints. Colonel Dr. Salah al-Din, reviewed that the number of theft crimes reached (3277), in which (2252) were accomplished, which represents 68.7%.
Colonel Dr. Salah Al-din declared that the number of cases received by the police reached (113491), in which (92949) were accomplished, representing (82%) of the total case .Regarding to the Traffic department, police recorded (8985) traffic accidents, resulting in (110 deaths), of which (49) inside the cities, and (61) outside the cities.
Colonel Dr. Salah Al-din noted that traffic police wrote 128670) )traffic reports, also (5942) illegal vehicles were destroyed.

With regard to drugs, Colonel Dr Salah Al-din said that the Anti-Narcotics department has seized (1254) issue between the possession, use and planting.
He pointed out that the number of judicial warrants have been received by execution sections reached (124426) issue, in which (102 890) issue were accomplished, in addition to (17116) issue were accomplished from previous years.
With regard to Correction and rehabilitation centers, Colonel Dr. Salah al-Din, said that the number of detainees reached (5297), while the number of those who sentenced to prison were (4309) people. The Correction and rehabilitation centers until the end of 2015 have a total of (1038) people.

He also assures that the crossings and borders police facilitated the travel of people through Al-karama crossing back and forth, of whom (826850) are departures and (812217) are arrivals.                               
With regard to tourism and antiquities police, Colonel Dr. Salah Al-din said that the total number of tourism activity reached (4847370) tourists, , also the guests in hotels reached (1064360) .
He explained that the number of cases related to the security of tourism professions reached (1002) case, and the number of cases related to the security of antiquities, reached (21025) case.    
Col. Dr. Salah Al-din noted that the number of training courses for police officers reached (182) courses, (2714) are internal courses and (753) Foreign courses, of whom (3467) of police officers participate.                                   
With regard to explosives ordnance disposal , Colonel Dr. Salah Al-din, said that the number of missions carried out by the explosives ordnance disposal reached (1382) mission most of it were dealing with mines and shells, grenades, which reached (545), and the destruction of a number of different dangerous objects reached (210). 

                                     
With regard to the special police forces, Colonel Dr. Salah Al-din showed that these forces carried out (14521) mission, distributed on humanity, security, protecting and escort missions, protect detainees and guarding the headquarters , secure sport games and resolve riots         and  fights.

He also pointed out that the number of activities done by the department of public relations and media reached (34957) of which (2229) were television interviews, and (11828) radio interviews, and (3809) school lectures, and (193) Universities lectures and (2008) social activities.
He explained that the number of cases received by the Family Protection unit have reached (3342) case, while the total number of cases that the juvenile unit dealt with were (2696) issue.

Colonel Dr. Salah al-Din revealed the missions that carried out by the Police Security and disciplinary, which amounted (3891) mission which resulted in the expulsion of 54 member of the police, after a variety of offenses. Also the number of the disciplinary and behavioral cases reached (2958) case. In addition to legal and financial case reached (879), and the cases transferred to military justice against police officers reached (44) case
The Conference was attended by Colonel Waddah Azamtah director of public relations and media department, Lt. Col. Abu Zneid Abu Zneid Director of Traffic Department, Where the other officers listened to questions from reporters and the audience at the conference, and answered all their questions and their interventions.
