Traffic Accidents kill 1 and Injure 122 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 1 was killed and 122 were injured  in 169 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 169 traffic accidents, which 1 was killed and 122 injured, of whom 3 sustained serious injuries, 14 moderate, and 105 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3491 vehicles and seized 84 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2641 traffic reports, and seized 121 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  56 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
