Traffic Accidents injure 148 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 148 were injured  in 169 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 169 traffic accidents, which 148 were injured, of whom 3 sustained serious injuries, 18 moderate, and 127 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3259 vehicles and seized 97 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2070 traffic reports, and seized 120 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  317 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
