Traffic Accidents kill 1 and Injure 163 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police –1 was killed and 163 were injured  in 163 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 163 traffic accidents, which 1 was killed and 163 injured, of whom 2 sustained serious injuries, 18 moderate, and 143 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3022 vehicles and seized 186 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 1715 traffic reports, and seized 126 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed 40 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
