Traffic Accidents kill 2 and Injure 132 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 2 was killed and 132 were injured  in 145 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 145 traffic accidents, which 2 was killed and 132 injured, of whom 4 sustained serious injuries, 10 moderate, and 118 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 2139 vehicles and seized 27 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 1300 traffic reports, and seized 97 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  5 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
