Traffic Accidents Injure 211 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police –211 were injured in 171 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 171 traffic accidents injuring 211 of whom 5 sustained serious injuries, 19 moderate, and 187 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 2191 vehicles and seized 22 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 1196 traffic reports, and seized 108 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed 53 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
