Traffic Accidents Kill 2 People and Injure 172 last Week in the West Bank.

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police - Two people were killed and 172 were injured in 188 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 188 traffic accidents killing 2 people and injuring 172 of whom 3 sustained serious injuries, 17 moderate, and 152 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3436 vehicles and seized 50 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2611 traffic reports, and seized 151 vehicles to ensure its legality, and destroyed 90 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives, and called on drivers to drive at a moderate speed.
