Major General Hazim Atallah, Chief of Palestinian Police congratulated the Palestinian woman on the occasion of the International Women's Day which falls on the eighth of March, expressing his pride of their struggle throughout history.           

Police's public relations and media department reported in a statement that" Police participated in all the events in all districts on the occasion of the International Women's Day. 


Police honored all the women who works in security institutions, and various institutions in all districts, believing that this honor motivates her for more giving in the process of building a Palestinian state and a continuation of the process of giving as she made her way in education, employment and participation, who become so creative and imaginative and involved in all spheres of life.Women today participate in organizations, unions and associations.

Women also participate in the various aspects of the struggle and the political, cultural, educational, economical and social activity, and in the decision-making process at the national level.

The statement pointed out that the police directors in all directorates honored policewomen on this occasion, stressing on the important role of females in the police institution, which represents in providing services to all the females in the Palestinian society in many areas, where policewomen reached the required scientific and professional level, which qualifies her to assume administrative positions.

Hence, the police emphasize on the absolute belief in the principle of community partnership, and support women as they are half of the society , as she is the mother, the wife ,the sister as well as a work colleague that participate with the  man in building  the institutions and the nation.
