Hebron - Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, Chief of the Palestinian Police, reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to providing security and humanitarian services to citizens and visitors during his inspection visit to the Hebron Police Directorate on Tuesday.
He was received by Brigadier Nasser Abu Hanani, Director of Hebron Police, his deputy Brigadier Haitham Al-Froukh, along with directors of centers, departments, and specialized sections.
During his meeting with officers, Major General Al-Saqqa conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine and Supreme Commander of the Security Forces, as well as Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa and Minister of Interior Major General Ziad Hab Al-Reeh. He emphasized the importance of continuing the implementation of the security and traffic plan during the month of Ramadan, enhancing security and community peace , and combating security chaos. He also underscored the significance of community partnership, highlighting that the citizen is a fundamental pillar in the security system.
Major General Al-Saqqa also made a field tour in the city’s streets and markets, where he was briefed on the progress of police procedures and listened to the concerns and opinions of citizens and merchants. His visit also included an inspection of the detention center and the special police unit, where he reviewed operational procedures.
Later in the day, he joined police personnel for an iftar meal in the presence of Hebron Governor Mr. Khaled Dodeen and security commanders, praising the high level of discipline and coordination among security agencies to ensure the best security and services for citizens.
He concluded his visit with a meeting with the Governor of Hebron, the leaders of security agencies, and the Chamber of Commerce, where they discussed the conditions of the governorate and its security and service needs.
