Ramallah – Major General Allam Al-Saqqa, Chief of Police, emphasized that achieving comprehensive security requires building a real and effective partnership with all segments of society. He stressed the importance of continuous cooperation between the police and citizens to enhance security and support the development process.
This came during a meeting held by Major General Al-Saqqa with the directors of specialized departments at the General Directorate of Police in Ramallah, following an Iftar meal with police personnel. During the meeting, he conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Mahmoud Abbas, the Supreme Commander of the Security Forces, Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, and Minister of Interior Major General Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, extending his congratulations to all on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Major General Al-Saqqa reaffirmed the police’s commitment to providing outstanding security services to citizens, highlighting the need to enhance police work and raise the efficiency of personnel to keep pace with developments and achieve the highest possible levels of security and stability.
He also called for strengthening the spirit of teamwork, working with a sense of responsibility, and cooperation with the community, stressing that an effective partnership with citizens is the cornerstone of achieving comprehensive security and reinforcing trust between the police and the public.
