Community Policing Respond to Appeal and Secure Housing for a Displaced Family in Tulkarm

‏Tulkarm – February 5, 2025 – The Community policing  responded yesterday to an appeal from a displaced family from Tulkarm refugee camp, who were living in hard humanitarian conditions in the north of the governorate, by securing suitable housing for them amid harsh weather conditions.

‏The police stated that one of the officers in the governorate took the initiative to provide his own home to shelter the family, which consists of approximately 25 members, in a move that reflects the police force’s commitment to its humanitarian responsibilities. Additionally, the police, in collaboration with partner institutions and the local community, ensured that all essential living necessities were provided to guarantee a dignified life for the family.

‏The police emphasized that their role extends beyond law enforcement and crime prevention to include humanitarian and social responsibilities, ensuring that citizens’ needs are met and fostering a spirit of solidarity and compassion within the community.
