Police and Intelligence Dismantle Counterfeit Currency Network in Nablus

‏Nablus – The police and military intelligence arrested a network of five individuals on Monday, suspected of distributing counterfeit $100 bills in Nablus.

‏The operation was carried out following intelligence reports indicating the network’s involvement in circulating fake currency in commercial establishments. In response, a joint ambush was set up by the Criminal Investigation Police and Military Intelligence, leading to the suspects being caught red-handed while attempting to distribute the counterfeit money. A sum of fake currency was also confiscated.

‏The police reaffirmed their commitment to working with relevant authorities to protect the national economy. The suspects and seized items have been placed under custody pending referral to the Public Prosecution for legal action.
