‏39,000 Travelers Crossed Al-Karama Border Crossing Last Week

‏Jericho – More than 39,000 citizens and visitors traveled through Al-Karama Border Crossing last week, while police arrested 50 individuals wanted by the judiciary and public prosecution.

‏According to the police, 25,035 people departed through the crossing, while 14,085 travelers arrived. The movement of passengers was described as active.

‏The police also stated that 50 wanted individuals and travel-restricted persons were apprehended during the same period, either while attempting to leave or upon arrival in Palestinian territory. These individuals were wanted in various cases before Palestinian courts.

‏Additionally, all security and civil agencies at the Department of Crossings and Borders provided facilitations and services to travelers. Special coordination was made for medical cases, allowing them to travel between both sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
