Number of Travelers through Al Karamah Crossing Reached 27 Thousands and 132 wanted were arrested Last week

(Jericho) -- Numbers of travelers entering and leaving the West Bank across Al Karamah crossing border last week reached 27 thousands and arresting 132 wanted, with 13840 entering and 13666 leaving.

Police’ Public Relations and Media department reported in a statement that” The Israeli side denied (24) citizens to access Jordan during the last week citing security reasons”

The statement added that "Al Karamah crossing police stopped (132) fugitive and banned from traveling last week, while they trying to leave through the crossing, or awaiting their arrival as they entered the Palestinian territories, and they are wanted in front of the Palestinian courts of different cases, and returned to the concerned authorities to complete legal procedures.”

The statement pointed out that the police liaised  the movement of  (6) people with disabilities between both sides of the crossing, where they are transported in customized buses with their families, and that the security services in the crossings and borders department made many facilities and services for all citizens, with liaison of many medical cases and others.
