Traffic Accidents kill 2 and Injure 203 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 1 was killed and 203 were injured  in 215 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 215 traffic accidents, which 1 was killed and 215 injured, of whom 2 sustained serious injuries, 13 moderate, and 188 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3870 vehicles and seized 97 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2357 traffic reports, and seized 132 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  140 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
