Traffic Accidents kill 4 and Injure 157 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 4 were killed and 157 were injured  in 189 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 189 traffic accidents, which 4 were killed and 157 injured, of whom 1 sustained serious injuries, 8 moderate, and 148 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3645 vehicles and seized 71 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2273 traffic reports, and seized 130 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  79 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
