Traffic Accidents kill 1 and Injure 181 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 1 was killed and 181 were injured  in 177 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 177 traffic accidents, which 1 was killed and 181 injured, of whom 1 sustained serious injuries, 12 moderate, and 168 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 4346 vehicles and seized 123 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2978 traffic reports, and seized 120 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  265 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
