Traffic Accidents kill 5 and Injure 121 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 5 were killed and 121 were injured  in 160 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 160 traffic accidents, which 5 were killed and 121 injured, of whom 11 sustained serious injuries, 25 moderate, and 85 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3714 vehicles and seized 69 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2550traffic reports, and seized 111 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  42 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
