Traffic Accidents kill 9 and Injure 710 last month in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 9 were killed and 18 were injured  in 710 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last month, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 710 traffic accidents, which 9 were killed and 600 injured, of whom 18 sustained serious injuries, 42 moderate, and 540 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last month 13450 vehicles and seized 260 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 8444 traffic reports, and seized 516 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  299 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
