Traffic Accidents kill 5 and Injure 143 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 5 were killed and 143 were injured  in 162 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 162 traffic accidents, which 5 were killed and 143 injured, of whom 7 sustained serious injuries, 12 moderate, and 124 sustained minor injuries.
The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 3456 vehicles and seized 86 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 2238 traffic reports, and seized 159 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed 53 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
