Traffic Accidents kill 2 and Injure 117 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 2 were killed and 117 were injured  in 139 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 139 traffic accidents, which 2 were killed and 117 injured, of whom 3 sustained serious injuries, 5 moderate, and 109 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 2433 vehicles and seized 35 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 1476 traffic reports, and seized 89 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  5 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives
