Traffic Accidents kill 2 and Injure 142 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police – 2 were killed and 142 were injured  in 180 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 180 traffic accidents, which 2 were killed and 142 injured, of whom 4 sustained serious injuries, 13 moderate, and 125 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 2230 vehicles and seized 63 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 1621 traffic reports, and seized 111 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed  72 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
