Traffic Accidents kill 1 and Injure 104 last week in the West Bank

Ramallah -The General Directorate of Police –1 was killed and 104 were injured  in 147 traffic accidents across the West Bank in the last week, according to a statement Police’ Public Relations and Media department released yesterday.

Traffic Police Department, according to the statement, documented 147 traffic accidents, which 1 was killed and 211 injured, of whom 2 sustained serious injuries, 12 moderate, and 90 sustained minor injuries.

The statement pointed out that the traffic police  examined last week 1576 vehicles and seized 30 vehicles lacked to public safety conditions, and wrote 1204 traffic reports, and seized 74 vehicles to ensure its legality and destroyed 66 illegal vehicles.

The statement called the road users to adhere the traffic laws and signals for the interests of their lives.
