30th Nov.2014 (Hebron)— Palestinian Police on Sunday make the wish of a tenth grade girl Dunia Sarabta from Hebron’s Ishaq al-Qawasmi school comes true. Dunia had called the police and expressed her wish to work with the traffic police to regulate traffic as a sort of voluntary service.
Police’ Public Relations and Media department reported in a statement that “Hebron Police welcomed the student Dunia , and escorted her to Bab Az-Zawiya neighborhood in the city center where she wore Police uniform ,and started organizing the traffic in spite of the heavy raining.
For her part, the student expressed deep delight to work alongside the traffic police, praising their great efforts to serve citizens, which she realized more through her experience with police officer in the street.
Hebron Police Chief Colonel Mohammad Tayim welcomed this wonderful move, stressing that desire to work with police is a proof that the student appreciates the efforts police make for the benefit of citizens. He expressed the police willingness to host more students seeking to find out more about the services provided to citizens.
