Police launched the Winter Check Up for Vehicles

4th Nov 2014, Ramallah- Police General Directorate –Today, Police launched the winter checking up campaign for vehicles, which implemented by the traffic department branches and the traffic experts in cooperation with the Transportation Directorates.
The Public Relations and Media in police reported that “this campaign comes to make sure of the drivers commitment with the traffic laws and to check up their vehicles, especially when it starts raining, and the afraid of slipping, and the inefficiency of the vehicle especially the brakes and wheels.
The Traffic Patrols started checking up the vehicles from the mechanical, electrical and technical aspects, which qualified the vehicles to be driven or not, in order to protect the drivers and the road users. The Police put checkpoints on the cities entrances, and wrote traffic violations for drivers who are not following the laws and the traffic instructions.
The campaign also included the Police vehicles in all districts, to make sure of its efficiency in terms of its wheels and brakes, in order to know its capacity to provide the best services to all citizens.
