An Educational day was organized for Drivers in Bethlehem by Police

28th October 2014, Bethlehem- the Police organized an safety educational day for drivers in Bethlehem. It was organized under the name of “In Caution there is safety, in haste repentance” , in cooperation with Tqoo’ municipality and the group of young pioneer.

Public relations and Media department in Police reported that Major Ra’ed Hammad head of Tqoo’ Police station, the staff of traffic counseling, the Public Relations and Media department and number of officers participated in an educational day for Vehicle drivers under the name of “In Caution there is safety, in haste repentance” in cooperation with Tqoo’ municipality and the group of young pioneer, with the attendance of  Tqoo’ mayor Mr. Hatem Sabah ,and number of  the Municipal council members . The participants gave roses and educational publications to drivers  calling them to obligate the traffic rules to maintain their lives.
This step has been welcomed by the residents, and they show their respect to Bethlehem Police, because it takes into consideration the life of the citizens through the activities organized in cooperation with the Civil and governmental institutions, in order to spread the principle of the rule of law.
Colonel Ala’ Al-Shalabi Head of Bethlehem Police Directorate, asserted that police will work on intensifying the meetings and lectures with citizens, especially with the students in universities and schools, to reduce and avoid the accidents, and to follow caution in winter time.
